Berlin’s State Animal Welfare Commissioner Dr Kathrin Herrmann will announce this year’s Berlin Animal Welfare Awards during the Vegan Summer Festival Berlin on 17 June 2023. Awards are given in the following categories:
Berlin Animal Welfare Award (5,000 euros)
Berlin Animal Welfare Youth Award (5,000 euros)
Berlin Animal Welfare Honorary Award (4,000 euros)
Animal-Free Teaching Award (5,000 euros).
Berliners are called upon to submit their proposals for prize winners to the State Animal Protection Commissioner by 31 May 2023. Further information and forms for submitting proposals can be found on the website of the State of Berlin.
